Welcome back to my blog! I am so happy you are here.

February is a big celebration month for our family. I was so happy to host a triple birthday celebration at my home and the preparations began the week before the event. First up, the menu! It included appetizers, mocktails, and a fabulous surf and turf feast to be grilled by the awesome family cooks. At the special request of the birthday boys, I baked a strawberry jello cake! Yum.

Of course there had to be a special tablescape, right? With spring just around the corner, I chose a beautiful butterfly theme and I love how it turned.

The cheerful colors were perfect for this festive celebration. After setting the table the day before the party, I baked the cake and allowed it to chill overnight. It is a very cool and refreshing treat when served chilled! Next, I set the dessert table with my lovely serving pieces from Inox Artisans (affiliate link). They are a must for all my parties!

Yay! The big day was finally here. Right before my guests arrived, I made several appetizers including prosciutto wrapped pears and hummus with pine nuts served with dried vegetable chips. Our appetizer spread is usually beautifully set on the center island in the kitchen. Again, my Inox Artisans (affiliate link) cheese knives and spreader make serving these tasty treats a breeze. Let the celebration begin!!

With my appetizers and table set beforehand, I was able to sit back and enjoy everyone cooking up their tasty dishes and even enjoyed a special refreshing mocktail mixed up by one of the birthday boys. Needless to say, it was a beautiful day filled with delicious food, drink, and a whole lot of love and laughs shared between the most important people in my life!
